On behalf of the Flag Officers and the Membership of the Constitution Yacht Club, I am pleased to welcome you to another season of sailing. As your new Commodore, it will be my challenge to maintain the high standards established by my predecessor, Bill Zimmermann.

 This year we have a full agenda of seminars, racing and cruising. We will begin with seminars on maintenance, rigging, racing rules, first aid and CPR in April, May and June. Wednesday evening races begin May 21^st, carry through to September 17^th, and will consist of three series of six races each. This should allow you to enjoy a long cruise, skip several races, and yet be in contention for a full season. In addition, Destination Cruises, the Spring and Fall Regatta and New Year's Day Race are scheduled for 2008. And, we have our annual meeting and awards banquet to look forward to in November.
