In spite of the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the Constitution Yacht Club is expecting to be able to have a more or less regular racing season this year. We are hopeful that the 2021 Wednesday Night Spring, Summer and Fall Series, the Spring Regatta and the Red & White Regatta will be able to go on as they have in the past. The tentative schedule at this time is that the Wednesday Night Season will begin June 2nd and run through September 29th. The Spring Regatta will be held June 12th and the Red & White Regatta will be held September 4th. The schedule should be finalized by the end of March. We will plan to have a Skipper’s Meeting via Zoom in mid-May. The Constitution Yacht Club Board of Directors is monitoring the situation with the health and safety of our members in mind, and will provide further details as they become available. We look forward to seeing all of you back on the water again soon!

The dates of the rumbles are not quite official yet, but it looks like CYC will be hosting the first one on June 16, CPYC July 14 and HBYC August 4.
The Mass Bay schedule is still in flux but should be available in late March.
CYC Annual Awards Brunch :: November 10, 2019 at 11:00 am
The CYC annual awards brunch and member meeting will be held on Sunday, November 10 at 11:00 am at the Savin Hill Yacht Club, 400 Morrissey Blvd, Dorchester, MA 02125. This event is free to current CYC members, $30 for non-members registered in advance, and $40 for non-members at the door. Registration will be available soon at Regattaman CYC Brunch - please register in advance to allow organizers to give accurate numbers to the venue.

Wednesday Night Racing 2019
Registration for the Constitution Yacht Club Wednesday Night Series is open on Regattaman! The season starts on Wednesday, May 29 and runs through September 25th. There will be a Skippers' Meeting at Parris Hall at Ned Devine’s at 7pm on Wednesday, May 15th. The Wednesday Night Series, and the Spring Regatta will all use ORR-ez handicapping. Please consider starting the application process as soon as possible so that you are all set for the start of the season. Applications can be done through Regattaman. To prepare for the season, you can follow these steps:
Renew your Constitution YC membership here. Not a member, but want to be one? You can apply for membership through this link.
If you plan to participate in the Mass Bay Weekend Series, renew your MBSA Membership.
Apply for a Mass Bay ORR-ez certificate. The certificate costs $100, but the first 200 boats will receive a $25 discount from MBSA. Some helpful guidance is available in this document.
The most economical way to register for Wednesday Night is through the CYC Evening Full Season Pass. The pass is $215 for non-members, $180 for CYC members, and includes all 3 series as well as the 3 Rumbles. That's a savings of $85 for non-members, $120 for members, over the cost of registering for the individual series.
Lastly, Constitution YC is partnering with Courageous Sailing and the Flip Flop Organization to support the Flip Flop Regatta on August 10th. This pursuit race has one of the nicest courses on the schedule and has hosted over 100 boats in the past. This year's edition will be to benefit the excellent programs at Courageous Sailing and promises to be one of the best sailing AND social events of the year. More details will be forthcoming, but rest assured we are all working to make sure this is the most affordable, fun, exciting Pursuit race on Boston Harbor - hold the date and help us rebuild what has traditionally been one of the best regattas in New England!
