The Clyde Challenger

Please join us at The Living Room on April 12 at 7pm for the final seminar in the 2017 CYC education series. Come listen to the harrowing tale of the Clyde Challenger, a 60-foot sailboat transiting from the Azores to the United Kingdom, that was dismasted. Stranded in a severe sea state and weather conditions the vessel put out a distress signal. It took 20 hours before the crew could be rescued by Royal Navy warship HMS Dragon. Come hear a first-hand account of the dramatic accident and rescue from crew member Luke Leafgren!

As always, the seminar is free for CYC Members and $10 for everyone else.

Members can register at https://www.cycboston.org/education-register, non-members at https://www.cycboston.org/store?category=Education.

We look forward to seeing you - Spring is right around the corner and the Skippers' meeting is May 10 at The Living Room!
